Cheers babes! In case you didn’t know, I love champagne. I can’t do vodka. I can’t do beer. I can do a glass of white wine occasionally, or tequila if it’s involved in a spicy cucumber margarita situation, but a glass of champagne is my absolute go-to. It really is a vibe. I can’t tell you how many eye rolls I get when I order a glass of champagne at the bar. But it’s SO good. A good champagne cocktail, even with the cheapest champagne, will replace your vodka cranberry with a lime in a hot second. Next time, tell the bartender you want a champagne cocktail of their choice. You can thank me later.

Classy, Sassy, and a bit Smart-Assy

Literally - this is how I would describe a glass of champagne. And, notably, myself. Champagne is more than just a drink for me, it’s a vibe. I feel like a glass of champagne goes with everything. It’s perfect for a girl’s night out to get you through a long week, it goes hand-in-hand with a sassy outfit (that may include a leather jacket on repeat), and it’s perfect to celebrate any fun occasion that you want to feel a little bubbly. I might also be a little bit of a champagne snob, who knew right?

Not only that…I don’t know about you but I love a good brunch with bottomless mimosas. Hello, Gracias Madre in WeHo! Even my boyfriend gets in on the mimosa madness on the occasional Sunday. Not only are mimosa my fave but a good champagne cocktail with blackberry and a hint of lavender with lunch is always ideal. (Recipe coming soon) I’ll be sharing all my tips and tricks for a great champagne cocktail and a great mimosa on some future blog posts. Champagne is ideal for any type of occasion but definitely for brunch on a lazy Sunday where you do absolutely nothing but lay by the pool and nap. Highly recommend for anyone.

The deets on the champagne brand featured: Freixenet Condon Negro is my new favorite “cheap” champagne brand. It’s amazing and the branding is so vibby and edgy, I’m obsessed. It has a hint of almond and just the right amount of bubbles for me. Find it at your local grocery store and let me know what you think.

So, that’s that babes! A little glimpse of why I love champagne so much. So, what’s your favorite champagne brand? Favorite champagne cocktail? Spill the champs below. Stay tuned for more tips and tricks!
