Rose The Grand Way Event : Champs City

The Chicest Champagne Event

One of the absolute coolest part of being an event planner is all the amazing events I get to attend as a guest. It’s so fun to see venues transformed and to see how other planners design a space. This event was probably one of my favorite events I’ve attended to date! It was all rose champagne themed with Moet (my fav) as the main sponsor. So you best believe there were champagne cocktails everywhere and I was thriving. The event consisted of a live big band with over 16 people, a champagne bathtub, a to die for dinner, and of course, an open bar. Which we all know I am SO here for, especially when the signature cocktails all have champagne in them! Honestly, I felt like when I walked into this event it was made for The Champagne Campaign!

Yes Way Rose!

I want to take you on a journey through the event with me so you can get a feel for how amazing and extravagant this event was. First things first, this event was a planner’s getaway, just to give you some context, so we were hosted for the two days and an evening at the Fairmont. So I pulled in, valeted my car, checked in at the front desk and was escorted to our room. The room turned out to be a double door suite with a to die for bathroom and breathtaking patio with a view of the lush gardens on the property. It was literally BEAUTIFUL. We then got ready and headed to cocktail hour in the library of the hotel where we served plated appetizers and glasses of Moet. We mingled with some other planners + caught up on the week. After that, we were escorted to the main event : The Planner’s Dinner in the chapel of the hotel.

The entrance in itself was unreal. We were greeted with a fun bathtub of balloons surrounded by huge bottles of Moet (which you see above) and then we walked down this hallway with walls that had hands poking out to serve us one of the signature cocktails and one of the signature appetizers! These walls are so fun for an event it literally feels like you’re in a movie. Through the hallway you got to the main event within the chapel which was a huge stage with a full big band playing, vegas style show girls walking around, three different bars of food (including a build your own poke bowl station, and I was thrilled about that situation) and a huge dancing area. Which you know I took advantage of! We danced, ate, drank some champagne + had the best time!

We had so much fun at the event but snuck away a little early to get some rest in the hotel room which, honestly, had the most amazing beds! I love a hotel bed and hotel sheets as much as the next basic b but this hotel outdoes the standard 100%. 10/10 highly recommend this hotel. It’s so pretty and so much fun! The next day we woke up super early and ventured around the property, had a quick brunch, and were back to work! Like always!
